Nor did the previous government’s ITT reforms bridge that chasm. In my view, they made it worse. The #ITTECF is generic. Recent reaccreditation of providers privileged generic pedagogy over richness and rigour of inhabiting a subject in order to craft or evaluate that pedagogy.
