When I came across this page reading the book to my kids, I teared up. I was literally holding my future; My children! I almost died from having no will-power. Exercising #WillPower is what allowed me to enjoy that moment w/ my kids.

50 days of no booze today. Feels great, scary and real. It’s exciting to see how much more *life* I have in my life. I relied on booze for stress relief and reward and escape. Some people can truly drink moderately- I am not one of them. I’ve stopped before it got worse. #IWNDWYT #soberskeet

A minor milestone almost slipped by yesterday without acknowledgment. I am now 19 months alcohol free. Have been enjoying congratulations and high fives from hospital staff when they ask about drinks and I get to say, “ZERO!” Patting myself on the back through the pain in my leg. #IWNDWYT
