With that in mind, I opted to make this tie green too.

Ian's heroism was as much of an influence on the Doctor’s early character development as Barbara's, and 1 had an amusing paternal relationship with him. The mechanical link between her card and his reflects the emotional link of the characters. (1/5)

Later that same year, William Russell would play 1st Doctor companion Ian Chesterton on Doctor Who. Another name listed on that end credit still is Nigel Stock who played Professor Hayter in the Doctor Who story Time-Flight. Though not listed in this particular screen grab, actors Angus Lennie and Tom Adams also appeared in The Great Escape and later on Doctor Who.
