8.25/10 for #kDrama #YouAndEverythingElse - #twDrama #ImperfectUs delivered a similar core story much better, in several key aspects. BUT, Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun were amazing together, the reason I stayed with this one to the end, and the reason I scored it as highly as I did. Bravissima!

One of the reasons I just LOVED #twDrama #ImperfectUs is that the 2 leads (one of whom resembles the FL in this Drama as it happens) were NEVER frenemies and NEVER became friends, not even at the very bitter, moving end. They remained inseparable enemies, but came to understand each other.

Many #KDrama possibles in this #dramarecschallenge but the two female leads in #TWDrama #ImperfectUs simply smashed it. The show needed them both to shine darkly to really soar & they did, so I'm giving this to Lin Yi Chen for playing so COMPLETELY against type.

A chat about #TWDrama #ImperfectUs reminds me that it a great example of having a tonally misleading OST theme track, at least initially. This song was used throughout the first 4 eps, and is upbeat and catchy. Which the Drama's story is emphatically NOT😀

That description is a perfect fit for the eponymous lead in the #CDrama #TaleOfRose - the Drama was about her life, and she was a very real person, a long way from a saint. And of course the #TWDrama #ImperfectUs was all about TWO women who were, as the title states, VERY imperfect.
