Separated At Birth? ~ My GoBots' Gong [1984] & Impulse's Tobot [1984] "Inspired" by Takara's super cool Micro Change MC-06 Watch Robo / Diaclone Kronoform 1983 designs, watchmaker Impulse Ltd., under license from Tonka, created an awesome GoBots' version of the robot watch concept released as "Gong" by Tonka in 1984. Impulse Ltd. also released it themselves as "Tobot" in that same year. That same design was then further licensed to CMI Corporation's Sweda, who produced it as a promotional item for Dairy Queen, replacing GoBot's logo with Dairy Queen's logo and using Dairy Queen's logo colours as its colour scheme in 1985.
