Putting my money where my mouth is, not only do I buy indie comics, books, games, etc, part of why I created Dark Fire Press was to give creators a favorable deal.
It's not easy, and sometimes I fall short, but the guiding principles of DFP are creator rights.

Experimentation has always been a cornerstone of J. M. DeSantis's work, and part of that motivated DFP's initial creation: a place to publish some of those ideas.
The Tainted Ones has proved popular, though, and many hope J. M. will expand it.

In 1992 I as just a young pre-teen just getting into comics. I was hungry for all sorts of new books and I saw this new one out from Malibu called Ex-Mutants. The Paul Pelletier Comic Art Fans art drew me in but being a child of the 80s the fun post Apocalyptic.
I can't think of anything more Indie than A Kid and a Comic. With a collection of creators of all levels telling their own stories, it's been an honour to be a part of it.

I loved this book. It had great art and was a fun sci-fi action story in the vein of MS Gundam.
Now days I just sit around Frankie B Washington's house hoping one day he'll draw a new version of the comic :P
