I don't think he has "stances". I think he blurts out whatever is in head at the time. To be fair, lots of people do this online. However, lots of people aren't the world's richest man with control of a social media platform that they have engineering to show his tweets to everyone. "But I'm going to send humanity to Mars so I can say whatever I like!" Any parent can recognise this kind of toddler tantrum.
