I just sent this to my Senators NO on IODA!!! Hi. I’m your constituent from Portland Oregon Republican Senator Mike Lee’s Interstate Obscenity Definition Act, or IODA, is not just an anti-pornography bill. It’s an anti-free speech bill. You must do everything you can to fight this. If he gets his way, he wouldn’t only be taking away our first amendment rights to porn, he’d ban most cable / streaming movies, sex education, art, discussions on LGBTQ, and pretty much anything else the christofascists decide is “obscene.” This is censorship, pure and simple. Don’t let weak centrist Democrats cave to pressure, thinking they are “doing the right thing” by supporting IODA. Just like they did with SESTA/FOSTA, supporting the bullies on this is wrong wrong wrong! I am 100% pro-porn, but that’s not the only reason I say YOU HAVE TO FIGHT THIS BILL!!!
