Why is that surprising? The U.K. has been silent on human rights in #SaudiArabia since at least 1917 - the days of #IbnSaud and #JackPhilby aka Sheikh Abdullah. Also around that time #Britain stabbed #Armenians and Ottoman #Greeks in the back. #Turkey
