Imagining this drawing as a prequel,here is how Jamie and Wordsworth discovered that his prized torch was magical.
Jamie would sometimes have some fun with a torch he got on his birthday whenever night time comes along.The light emitting from the torch always pointed to the wall.
But one night,while he was doing it as usual,he decided to see what would happen if he shone the light on his bedroom floor and when he did,the torch acted unusually funny.
He and Wordsworth could not believe what was happening and as far as you and I can see,Jamie was the first to go down the hole and Wordsworth followed afterwards.
And that's how they ended up discovering Cuckoo Land.
When Jamie grows up many years later however,he will pass down his magic torch to his children and grandchildren in the future for he will become a grand-dad in the 2020s since all of this happened 50 years ago.
