You can send your luggage to hotels where you will stay for several days. Inbetween take for 1 or 2 days cloathing in an edc. and stay in smaller towns like Himeji, Nara or Kamakura. Half the price, completely different fibe. Highly recommend. Pictures hotel and tempel Kamakura.

I've stayed at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku every time I've gone to Tokyo and would recommend it to anyone. Super close to Shinjuku Station, coin laundry on site, lots of game centers and other nightlife in the immediate area. Plus you can meet Godzilla!

Okay, if you are claustrophobic, then the Tube SQ capsule hotel at Chubu Centrair Int'l Airport is definitely NOT for you. However, If you are traveling solo thru Nagoya and need a safe, cheap place to stay overnight, give it a try.

Hotel Recommendations
Holiday Inn Express Midosuji in Osaka. 15 minute walk to Dotonbori, Hommachi station 3 mins away, surrounded by konbinis and restaurants. Plus the room was the largest I've stayed in Japan and had an amazing shower. The view was great too.
Day 2: Hotel recommendations
We didn't stay in too many hotels during our trip, but if you're looking for a nice place to stay in Tokyo we LOVED Daiichi Inn in Ikebukuro! Relatively close to the train station and it has a famima attached to it! Here's the view we had from our room

THE KANZASHI TOKYO ASAKUSA I recommend the Kanzashi Tokyo Asakusa. It has a great upper roof balcony, where I shot these pictures. Plus a nice room and helpful staff.

In Sep '23 I stayed a couple of nights at Hotel Nest in Hiroshima. It wasn't expensive but the rooms were really modern, quite spacious with a good size bed, and even a free breakfast. It's on a main street with tram stops outside, so it's really convenient. Loads better than an APA!
