Any Nintendo/video game store. My interest in Japan stemmed from video games so being in a store in the land of video games is a special thing.

Favourite store in Japan! This was a hard choice, but I have to pick Akihabara's main strip, home to Mulan, Animate, Astop Radio Kaikan to name a few, the latter is my top choice for second hand figures. I love anime and kawaii goodies, so this place blew my mind. #Japanuary25d5 #Japanuary25

My favorite type of store in Japan is the 100-yen store. It's my kryptonite. I cannot pass one in Japan without going in. Take my money! Daiso is the GOAT, but if you find a Seria or Can Do, they are also awesome.

Might be cheating since it's a mall but I LOVED Nakano Broadway! I actually learned about it through a Digimon game and knew I wanted to check it out since then. An absolute must visit if you're into older anime series and electronics.

Two stores that I always hit, are Tower Records in Shibuya and Don Quijote. I love both stores. Tip: The Ikebukuro Tower Records is only one floor and doesn't have the inventory of Shibuya.

Favourite Shop
It's a cliche but I really love Don Quixote. I could spend hours in there plus the massive bags of white chocolate strawberries they sell always end up in my basket.

Fav shop

I love going to the baseball in Japan and checking out the fan shops - and this one at the Hanshin Tigers stadium (near Osaka) was off the scale. As you can see, it was rammed - they're merch mad!
