The pop culture news cycle is so odd these days.
An inversion of the Warhol thing - someone who was famous once and that you remember will die every fifteen minutes.

Sad to hear of the untimely death of Jenni Murray today. She was a newsreader & later 1 of the presenters of the BBC's Newsnight TV show for 2 years from 1983, before moving to Radio 4 to present Today. She then presented Woman's Hour for 33 years from 1987 till 2020. Sorely missed. #JenniMurray
An #Otwituary for broadcaster #JenniMurray
When the hour is up, you will not need
these words to validate you. Besides,
it does not take an hour to show that
a safe space is not safe until everyone
finds their space, and everyone is safe.
RIP #JenniMurray
Used to write for #WomansHour, though sadly, never met her.
The voice of a generation of women.

Very sad news about #JenniMurray. Consummate broadcaster, long time host of Womens Hour and a lovely person. RIP. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
#JenniMurray was a legend.
Saw her interview Sheila Hancock when we lived in Manchester.
The floor of Royal Exchange Theatre had various little plaques for famous people, and I saw this! Serendipity!
Oh this is sad news.
