#JesseJacksonSr was mentored by #MartinLutherKing and knew how to work nonviolent direct action. He merged the Rainbow Coalition with Operation PUSH. The were the OG fighters against police brutality and fed many hungry children. They also worked to unite Latin and Black activists and voters.

Read on one of the #EpsteinTrump news reports headline scrolls that #JesseJacksonSr was hospitalized. Felt bad about that. Jackson was a #Chicago progressive and civil rights icon, smeared by white people, under appreciated. I met him on the Kerry campaign. He was very warm and classy.
