a snippet of my writing from a work of bts fanfiction i'm currently working on. body text reads: Jimin wakes to soft morning bleeding through the organza curtains, the first light of a gray Atlantic dawn kissing his eyelids like the ghost of a lover. For a moment he does not recall where he is, but he knows he isn’t in his old room, and in that moment Jimin is content. He burrows sleepily back into the blankets, his purr loud and steady as he kneads them. They smell entirely of him and no one else and he feels safe and warm and content until his sleep-soft thoughts finally catch up to reality. The purring slowly dwindles into stillness. He’s now pet and plaything to the most dangerous and powerful man in the city, and the only way he can ensure his own survival is to make that man fall in love with him. We aren’t in danger, the cat in him insists. But Jimin hasn’t led the sort of life that leads to trust and faith and hope. And there are ways to hurt people that don’t involve wounds or even words. Soowon always told him he was too smart and too pretty for his own good, now Jimin has to trust that will be enough to keep him alive.
Last week I introduced you to JK, so how about this week we have a little cat boy/burglar JM intro? He's pretty, he's smart, and he out to get what he wants from the world, despite the situation he's found himself in.
