So this spoiled white thirteen year old boy has no consequences for any of this and the family is just going to pretend and move on? Absolutely not, that kid needs jail or psychiatric supervision or something. At least this movie shows there is no excuse for his behavior as he is not abused, bullied, or ldealing with issues iving in poverty.

I realize adolescence has been getting more attention but this is a prime example of how "boys will be boys" is an issue because there are no consequences when they act out. Boys also need to be taught accountability, emotional intelligence, and emotional regulation. When the gardener (?) told him he was a "good kid," it highlights how little effort is put into actually parenting boys.

The police are obviously no help when someone does call to check on them so that's no surprise. If I understood the timeline of this correctly, they were in this bunker for a week.

Even in the bunker the sister is the one that thinks he is trying to kill them whereas the mom is concerned that something may have happened to him. Again, this boy is usually given the benefit of the doubt over and over.

I would have given a higher rating if there was consequences in the end because otherwise this just perpetuates the problem. Having the family eat together at the table just seems like he learned nothing and that this was treated as a simple mistake and I just can't with that nonsense.

A lot of people have been focused on #Adolescence. Another infuriating example would be #johnandthehole. In this case though, there's no consequences apparently #moviereview
