I’d love to make a dark ambient/noise/industrial/drone piece out of all the great interstitial/intro/segue bits on albums by #JudasPriest. There’s some too moments on “Painkiller”: ‘Night Crawler’, ‘A Touch of Evil’, the feedback at the very end of ‘One Shot At Glory’. Nice material to use.
I was never really one for cassingles, but I remember buying this one. 50p. Probably from EGS or JAT records in Wakey. 1991. I played the fuck out of it. ‘A Touch of Evil’ remains one of my very favourite #JudasPriest songs. Don Airey’s camp synths adding to its horny, gothy grandeur. Fabulous gear!
