I gave this 8 hours (out of 37) and I couldn't take it anymore. The thought of reading 2 more long books after this one, at this pace was just too much. Just hours and hours of boring character background. It reminded me of Station Eleven, like there's this really cool stuff happening, but I'm instead going to talk about some lame normal stuff that happened before the cool stuff. I feel like things were eventually going to get exciting, but then I was traumatized thinking the author might introduce a new character occasionally and then I'd be subjected to 6 chapters of background on that character. No thanks.

I don't know why the other guys' algorithms seem to be so focused on en*rage*ment.

Under an hour left on my library loan.. "The Passage by Justin Cronin" #JustinCronin ...took a *little* break to check in w/bluesky... 2+ hrs later... PLZ no "Wait List"...plz RENEW..completely lost track of time...
