Please consider this THE source to reference across all handles when it comes to usage of my art. I get questions like this semi-frequently so wanted to make something to refer to. If you have a question not answered here, please ask in the comments!
Can I repost art I commissioned from you?
If you commissioned it you can do whatever you want*
*Unless I gave specific instructions to keep the commission anon/for your eyes only (which I rarely ask for) go nuts man.
*Do not make money off prints or putting it on a t shirts for sale or something that's all I care about with this. (More on this further down)
But I want to credit you! Which handle do I use??
When in doubt, @kcatomheart for anything. That's now my universal handle across my main posting zones.
SFW, NSFW, kinky, I don't care.
If you don't want to link to an 18+ space, @kcatomheart in twitter and tumblr are designated
SFW zones.
*However, Please do not credit @coracuttle on anything nsfw or furry if you can help it.
Can I use your art as an icon/banner for social media?
If you commissioned it, go nuts.
If you didn't commission it...if it's my characters or someone else's commission please don't.
If it's FANART or art I made of characters from another
IP, that's fair game. I don't own undyne or spinel so I don't care, just don't take credit for the artwork.
Can I color your work?
You may, but credit me for the original image. Also please show me if you do lol
Can I edit your work in other ways?
This is situational so I'd prefer if you asked. When in doubt, no.
Can I pay someone else to color my commission?
That's fine, but please show me when it's done!
I bought an adopt from you! Are there any rules or stipulations to the character?
You bought it, you own it, it's no longer mine. No rules.
I found some of your art being used on F-list or other roleplay places. Should I let you know?
This is tricky.
If it's fanart, I don't mind. No action needed.
If it's a commission I did for someone else, that's ultimately up to the client, so please let them know if you know them.
If it's of my characters and they are PLAYING my characters), yes please let me know.
If it's of my characters and they're using the art as example images or placeholders, let me know and I'll review it.
I commissioned something from you and it's being used or reposted in a way I don't like! Can you help me take it down since you're the artist?
Absolutely. I will do what I can.
I really want to put a picture you did on a shirt, a print, etc can I just get one made?
If it's for your own personal use and you do not plan on mass producing or selling merch with my work on it, that's fine.
