I’ve been granted a reserved seat at this occasion today, in recognition of my work in engaging Leicester’s diverse communities in this historic event in 2015. That was arguably the high point of my eight years as Voluntary and Community Engagement Manager in the City Mayor’s Office. #KR3

I'm not a monarchist, but I do love my history. So on 24th March 2015 I took a day off from work to queue for a few hours to file past the coffin King Richard III #KRIII #KR3 at #Leicester cathedral. Being local, I was raised on visits to & tales of the Battle of Bosworth.
