Have not been following events in the Karen Reid retrial here in Dedham, but was surprised to read today that she had appealed her double jeopardy argument to the USSC, and that an alternate juror from her first trial is in her defense team. Wow. What next? #karenreid

I’m at the point of taking a step back. Won’t be watching the big big chat tonight or the inevitable commentary tomorrow. I’m watching the #karenreid hearings. There’s bullshit and corruption there too, but it’s less overwhelming for me personally (but not for her).
