Starting my new intellectual hobby

So, my new hobby/skill-to-be begins with a positive surprise - found #Kashubian among languages supported by #RaspberryPi 😱🍰

#Kashubian vampire beliefs are some of the latest recorded continuation of old vampiric folk belief. When #Kashubes were first migrating to the Americas, two settlements formed. One at Jones Island (my ancestors) and the other in Canada. The Canadian Kashubes had their vampire beliefs studied.

My father’s was mostly #Kashubian American. I grew up with my grandmother telling me how we came through southern Europe to the Baltic Sea and lived there for millennia, with conquerors coming and going. They called us many nations, but we always were Kashubian.

I've always been deeply spiritual. Raised officially Evangelical, I was really most influenced by #indigenous spirituality, which came from my #Jumano & #Kashubian grandmothers. I learned to speak with plants, believe I belong to earth, wonder at diversity, and know my ancestors watch over me.

The Baltic Sea

Seas and oceans

Sang out approval when
I learned to run the rivers
