Upgraded my #Fedora #Kinoite to 42

When the upgrade begins, I was quite delightful that no #rpmfusion packages were broken.

But my joy didn't last long. I now find #Nix doesn't work well on Fedora 42. Hope this issue can be fixed

I've been using #silverblue for a couple of months but I don't like gnome. I've now rebased to #kinoite to evaluate KDE. But I would prefer to use NsCDE or enhanced motif window manager. But I don't know how to get them to work on this fedora flavor.

A Fedora Kinoite Desktop with almost vanilla kde with the breeze dark theme colored using the wallpaper colors as accent as well as the titlebars; the information app is open and shows "Fedora Linux 41: Kinoite"; under this text there are the computer specifications. The wallpaper Shows a snowy and somewhat dark street, the sky is grey and the buildings are illuminated by a subtle yellow color; one single car can be seen crossing the street while very few are parked on the sides of the road.

I hope #Fedora ublue-os/cosmic gets the support it needs to (not sure if this is the correct terminology) become a fully supported atomic spin once #COSMICDE hits 1.0. I've had nothing but a great experience with #Kinoite on my partners laptop and #Bazzite on her gaming desktop.

#kinoite been pretty good so far. I completely reinstalled it on top of everything else and its been pretty good for everything I've used (Prism Launcher, Steam, Spotify, and Discord, and Rider), EXCEPT IntelliJ since it requires an installation of Java somewhere and i'm an idiot
