Bordello, the Musical Debuts in London
In the atmospherically lit studios of the Royal Academy of Dance in London, a new musical is stirring to life. On 20 and 21 March 2025, Bordello, the Musical will offer two workshop performances, inviting audiences into the raw, unfinished heart of a story that spans continents and centuries. With tickets priced at a modest £10, this isn’t a polished West End premiere but a chance to witness a work in progress—one that melds tango and klezmer into a vibrant tapestry, inspired by the real-life struggles of Raquel Liberman, a Polish immigrant ensnared by a Jewish sex-trafficking ring in 1920s Buenos Aires.
