Ah. Turns out, the actual problem is the "round boundary", or whatever you call it.
I'd had to add a stitch to make sure the crossover worked properly, but had forgotten to take it out again. Hence the extra stitch I've run into here.

Huh. Well, it *almost* worked properly this time!
I may need to chart out what I've done wrong here, just to settle the facts in my head.
At least the Right-Twist lines are straight?
Plus, it should be relatively easy to fix, even if I don't undo the entire row.

Um. Okay. This needs more thought, I see.
I've figured out how to handle the Left Twist stitches, but it appears that working in spiral rounds may not work for this double-spirals idea.
Here, it looks pretty good, actually. Very impressive, even.

It's taken me a bit to get this one going, but it's finally making progress!
Yet another Bewind Hat, this time in Bernat Wavelength in "Snowflake Obsidian". Which I'm actually getting slightly disappointed in. Not quite enough shade variation so far.

Now that I have the technique down for this size of yarn, I will absolutely be making more of them. After all, I have three other colours to use up, and only used half the skein for this one!
Absolutely worth it!

Anyway, while I try to locate some suitable knitting needles to finish off the decreases, I've already completed the first two rounds of decreases on the 9" set I'm currently using.
I *may* be able to decrease just once more before I absolutely need the DPNs or equivalent.

This weekend was like -2°F here. Low of -6°. I was not at all looking forward to going outside. But I had my new #knittedhat and this awesome #pompom on top of it, so I put on like 3 base layers and hoped for the best!

Man, this much progress would have taken me quite a bit longer with DPNs, I'm pretty sure. But with appropriately-sized circular needles, it's basically a breeze!
Time to try more circular needle projects!
Here, I've switched from 4.5 for the ribbing to 6mm for the body.

It's taken me a while to get around to it, but I've *finally* started using this Bernat Wavelength in "Tanzanite".
But this time, I have two sizes of circular knitting needles, of a length short enough to actually use to make a hat! And it's a *breeze* so far!

Huh. My tensions screwed up on the orange one. No idea how they kept loosening on me. When I was finishing off the decreases, I tightened things back up, and got a peak in the middle.
It's VERY tempting to leave it as-is...
