“This is the worst! The worst of the worst! Even if he suddenly said stuff like that! We still have no idea what’s going on!” Rants Kujo Tsukiyo, a girl who looks like a doll and is fond of them and the moon. She became close to Shiori after meeting her. “Hey, Shiori, are you free tonight? Let’s go watch the moon for real!” They often hang out.
Shiori wordlessly writes, Tsukiyo respects this. Putting a hand over her mouth while thinking “Oops, I better stay quiet. Right now, Shiori’s head is overflowing with words.” - respecting her friend kindly! Shiori’s monologue “I wrote and wrote but I can’t keep up. This is too much of a burden for someone who’s as introverted as me… Now that it has come to this, I’m desperate too. I’ll throughly investigate what happened!” She thinks to herself, excited about her story. “Shiori!! What about the moon!?” Tsukiyo repeats, concerned they won’t get to spend precious time together as she so desired.
Thankfully, things go ahead. Tsukiyo and Shiori get to look at the moon together! “The moon is really beautiful tonight” “do you always come here?” “Every once in a while” The title page for KamiNomi chapter/‘flag’ 240(it’s a shounen series, it’s pretty long. Under 300 chapters tho and SO worth it) “Surprisingly, these two ladies understand each other as they gaze at the moon” “A half moon. ‘Embracing the light and bearing the darkness, the moon treads through the cold and distant night…’” “I know that poem..!” “You do..!?”
“‘A golden rabbit’ by Haruko Endou, published by Nohara press!” Shiori happily explains, a book in hand. Tsukiyo squeals happily, they’re both a fan of the same thing! “You really know a lot!!” “I-I just like to read…” The girls sit down on a bench, Tsukiyo brings out her porcelain doll. “This is Luna! She’s my friend!” She introduces her to Shiori. “Oh, h-hello!” Shiori politely greets Tsukiyo’s friend(a doll) “It’s cold, have some tea” Tsukiyo offers some warm tea served from a proper tea set and all. “A tea service in a place like this… She sure is gusty..” Thinks Shiori. “I’ve never met anyone so knowledgeable before… She’s really a wonderful girl… and she didn’t even flinch when I showed Luna to her!” Tsukiyo thinks to herself as elegantly sips at tea, glancing at Shiori. “She looks like a doll when you see her up close… Is it really ok for riffraff like me to talk to someone as cute as her..?” Worries Shiori. Their friendship is still budding but very very wholesome!!
