I found this screenshot of Tomoya Nagase in Ikebukuro West Gate Park (it's on Netflix too!), and it's just so ridiculously Numata... the characters' given name is also Makoto 😭

The live-action IWGP came out April 2000, and KCDS began its run in 2002...
