At the 2024 Archives Bazaar, CSU Pomona Special Collections shared some items from its wonderful LA County Fair collection.

Angelus Matchcover Club has a popular display at the Archives Bazaar as it has a number of vintage matchbook covers for sale. This 2024 photo shows matchbook covers from the Brown Derby and Ship's Coffee Shops.

It was originally created in 1923 as a temporary advertisement for a local real estate development. "LAND" was removed in 1949 to reflect the district of Hollywood, not the development itself.

Michele was the first trans fire captain in the Los Angeles Fire Dept. Her marriage at the Senshin temple in 2000 publicly established that Jodo Shinshu affirms transpeople and their relationships.
