Whoaaaaaaa that’s really something! I’m getting something… 🔮 Yeah, the guy’s logged 120 movies and they’re all bangers. FASCINATING! Either virtually-none or none at all in .5 stars, and fewest of all, other than that, is 5.0 stars, followed by 4.5, followed by 1.0. It’s interesting and suggests a hesitation to just wholeheartedly hate/disregard/reject movies entirely. Neither is LMD just giving away approbation; 4.5 and 5.0 VERY rare, but rarest of all is .5 stars/the lowest, bespeaking — I THINK 🔮 — an open-heartedness to films and the willingness to find at least something to like in them while reserving greatest love for the fewest, most special films.

If I’m reading this right, and I’d like to think that I am (Ocean’s 11 reference), that means Ben has, as yet, logged zero films as .5-2.5 films. Every one of the (several hundred!) films he’s watched has been a 3.0 or better. Does he just not log bad movies? Is he able to so effectively curate his experience? … yeah, I’m not really reading palms, lol, but they often DO say interesting things at a glance about our habits and signals 🤓

Interesting… interesting… I’m getting something 🔮 Think about the geometric sq footage of those bars, and what that means about how he spends his time (and compare it to the cats’ & mine!). This dude LIVES in the 3.0+ movie range, which — for us — is, like, okay-to-pretty-good and up. He almost doesn’t watch movies he hates, statistically, or in terms of total time spent.

Swartacus (it keeps trying to autocorrect to Spartacus lol) has seen like 2K+ films, and he’s one of those patron-tier mfers 🧐 who gets to substitute all the custom cool posters, whereas mine & the cats just has the regular basic-bitch you’ve-seen-them movie posters 😆
