My research was about synthetic fuels for cars. The results can be seen in the graph. BEA = electrical vehicle, SD = synthetic Diesel, SB = synthetic Gasoline, the black boxes are produced with 100 % RE and the blue boxes with an energy mix for the EU. #LCASky

Oh wow. Actually terrible news. I did some research about that topic. I can recommended you some papers, but first of all you should consider cumulative energy demand over GHG emissions, bc the energy consumption of synthetic fuels is insane. #LCASky

On the mineral resources side, it must be noted that simply replacing one energy system with a low-carbon one should not be the solution. We need to pay much more attention to ensuring that raw materials are considered in this transformation. CO2 should not be our only indicator!
