Trinity trio's biotech start-up secures £65 million to progress drug development A Cambridge biotech start-up created by three Trinity members to treat the rare and incurable condition amyloidosis has raised £65 million in investment

Biotech start-up Immutrin is committed to advancing treatment for amyloidosis utilising therapeutic antibodies, technology first developed at the LMB.
Its founders include LMB emeritus scientist Greg Winter and alumnus Daniel Christ.

The LMB was saddened to hear of the death of #LMBAlumni Bill Scott, who was a postdoc at the LMB working with Aaron Klug from 1993-1996. During this time he won the LMB’s postdoctoral prize for outstanding research.
