View from the rooftop of Casa Milà, and also known as La Pedrera with its unconventional rough-hewn appearance, a Modernista building in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Designed by architect Antoni Gaudí and was built between 1906 and 1912. All of these elements, constructed out of brick covered with lime, broken marble, or glass have a specific architectural function but are also real sculptures integrated into the building of the chimneys and vents.
