The Lake District peak Helvellyn is in the distance, taken from the stoney path leading up from Glenridding, the path is visible in the foreground. On the left of the peak you can make out Striding Edge, one of the routes to the top. On the right of the peak you can make out Swirrel Edge, another route to the top. There are blue skies with a few fluffy clouds.
A photo looking East, along the ridge, taken on Striding Edge which leads up to Helvellyn. There is one walker on the very top of the narrow rocky ridge, and another few following the less exposed path on one side, just down from the top. There are blue skies with a few fluffy clouds.
A photo taken from the summit plateau of Helvellyn, looking South East towards the Striding Edge ridge. The far end of the plateau is showing above some cliffs on the right. A corrie lake called "Red Tarn" is visible in the bottom left, below the ridge. In the foreground is the edge of the near end of the plateau. There are beautiful blue skies and a few wispy clouds.
Walked up Helvellyn for the first time yesterday, quite a fun scramble up Striding Edge then back down Swirrel Edge. Absolutely gorgeous day for it! #LakeDistrictFells
