Urge to make every game going forward for the Ayn Thor and Anbernic RG DS...rising.... Must r-r-resist...

I think I've reached a point where it's good enough and I can move on. I can't figure out how to get the "danger zone" flash animation working, but oh well, maybe in another 10 months I'll take another crack at it.

I withdrew from the 32-Bit Winter Jam due to personal reasons, but I wanted to at least show off what I had created.

A very cool idea: developing an arcade game in Godot for a Raspberry Pi (or alternative), sticking that bad boy in an arcade cabinet.

Bonus points if it uses a CRT TV monitor.

Ya girl is trying to figure out how to make a Zelda hearts health system in Godot and is having trouble ๐Ÿ˜ญ

The system uses modulo and this is my first time using this concept.

Talking about the possibility of managing limited RAM in my Zelda 64-like Godot game when focusing on retro handhelds.

I would love to get CRT Emudriver on my computer, but it looks kinda complicated to work with. I'd love to use it to work on pixel art!

If I could ever get my hands on a PVM/BVM, hooo boy, I'd never turn it off

You know what, screw it, I'm learning 3D.

Zelda 64-like, my beloved, you are going to happen someday...

RG 34XX SP secured while it's currently on sale! (Hopefully this wasn't a terrible financial decision!!)

I'm going to do my best to get my games working on this hardware. It has 2 GB of RAM so it should handle any game I make without issue.

Day 238 of working on Witch Brew Dive:

It's still not done lol i'm so fucked, honestly i'm unsure if this project is worth completing

The game is based off my work in customer service and that job makes me really depressed. So even when I'm off work, I'm working on a game that cutely gameifies my work. So spiritually my job went from taking up a significant part of my day to even more of my day.

The thing is, I promised my coworker (who no longer works there) that I would finish it and show them the game, and I promised myself that I would complete a game instead of making a million unfinished games.

I keep telling myself that the several+ people who played it and enjoyed it or saw potential in it are going to play the finished version and...something good will happen, hopefully life-alteringly good. That is unrealistic expectations now that I think about it.

I also talked to an artist (who is going through incredible hardship right now) who has expressed interest in working with me on the dating sim game I've had and I believe that game idea is a lot better, cooler, and more worth my time and effort.

Additionally, I would love to start thinking about a Zelda 64-like project because I've always wanted to work on this and people seemed to be interested in working with me on such a thing.

Your girl is so tired.

230 days ago - YAY! I'm so glad that you liked it! I'm still working on the game and I plan for it to be finished before November! Thank you again!! ^_^ ^_^

Ambernic RG35XXSP consoles lined up in a row.

Apparently it is possible to port Godot games (as well as from other engines) to an array of affordable handheld consoles! This is thanks to the efforts of a group of devs called Portmaster.

I would love to make it an option for my games going forward!

With the help of r/godot, I have updated the pitch system and it finally works properly!! I thought you had to increase the pitch scale by 1/12 per semitone, but as it turns out it's 2^(semitone / 12).

Iโ€™m just super proud of this shot right here. (Itโ€™s even better animated!)

I am still working on Witch Brew Dive! It's going slow but surely. I restarted programming from scratch because I feel like I can do better this time around!

Solo game dev sucks because you've gotta do *EVERYTHING* yourself, even things that you're not good at. Though I worry that if I had multiple people working on a single project how disregarded my input would be. In the past, my input and the way I worked was often scoffed at.

In my quest to get Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound encoding in Godot, I have stumbled upon the docs for AudioEffectStereoEnhance. It had no documentation until now with 4.4 coming out.
