A brown dragonfly with a bright yellow stripe running down the side of its body rests on a branch of an apple tree. Its wings are all splayed out and are almost perfectly clear, except for a few large brown blotches at the tips, in the middle, and next to the body.

A big, plump Swallowtail caterpillar munches happily on a carrot leaf. It blends into the carrot greenery very well, being green with black stripes & small yellow dots.

A tiny bird's nest, no bigger than 2 inches across, made from delicate little pieces of brown grass, sits nestled into the crotch of a few branches in an apple tree. It is well hidden by the green leaves of the apple tree.

A Variegated Fritilliary Caterpillar munches on the green leaf of a downy yellow violet plant. The caterpillar has orange and white stripes running down the length of its body, and has black spikes protruding down the entire length of its body.
