This would have been our fourth trip to the park/campground, but we turned around because of dust devils.

Good evening. It was so hard to walk away from Tucson Botanical Gardens w/o buying 🌱 plants, so many succulents, cacti, and water-wise plants, all on display at entrance/exit.

But we can't travel with plants in the camper and I wasn't going to hold a plant in my lap for weeks

Our last night was spent, unfortunately, at Salt Plains State Park OK. We'd sworn never to come back. But one bad short cut and two bad turns later, we were there trying to set up camp after dark.

Good morning. We traveled by #LandYacht 29 days thru 3 time zones and 8 states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas (bad turn twice). Came back to a wind damaged house.

But we also came back to a garden full of Spring pretties.

A guy with a guitar walked in to serenade. No one acknowledged him. Everyone averted eyes. 🧐
