One More Thing Somewhere between Everyday Moves and Exceptional Moves is One More Thing. When a Main Character wants to do something that isn’t covered by their Everyday Moves or their Exceptional Moves, the Facilitator can go through the following steps to determine how to cover it. 1. If it’s a fairly normal action that wouldn’t be difficult to do, and runs little risk or repercussions, let them do it as if it was under their “Never hesitate to” list. 2. If it’s an exceptional action that is covered by an Exceptional Move they just don’t have yet, point out that move and ask them to come up with a narrative reason why they can’t do it right now. Encourage them to take that move during Game Check In. 3. If it’s an exceptional action that you don’t think they should be able to do in this game, use the Phrase of Power ‘Time Out’ and discuss. Try to come to a mutual understanding of the shared game world. Remember that each of you is a player engaging in collaborative storytelling for fun. 4. OTHERWISE, engage the special move One More Thing One More Thing Congratulations, you have surprised the darkness and the writers of this game. You have engaged the narrative with ingenuity, and such acts deserve to be rewarded and punished simultaneously. Choose one: Push: You dig down deep and find the strength within yourself. Spend MCE and describe how you succeed. The darkness is briefly delighted. Pull: You barely had it in you, and the darkness is paying full attention to your efforts. Describe how you succeed. The darkness makes a cold move in response. Miss: Describe how you mundanely fail. You’ve wasted the darkness’ time.

There's something about the simple clean layout of this game that reminds me of some of the best 3rd party splat books from DnD 3.x.
Not done yet, but some of the rules are also really elegant. There are parts that mirror #LastKiss and some that went in the other direction, which makes sense
