Day 17 Mobster 2: Choi Min-soo played An Oh-joo in #LawlessLawyer so perfectly from the styling to the facial tics and the accent as well as personality. It was a flawless performance of a gangster turned mayor.

I am enjoying Lawless Lawyer (Viki) - mainly for Lee Joon Gi’s charismatic performance (is there any other kind?). There are some strong performances here and the story is pretty compelling. It reminds me of Vincenzo with the legal battles, corruption and mafia connections etc #lawlesslawyer #kdrama
This was my twisty revenge drama pick too. Definitely worth checking out #LawlessLawyer if you’re in the mood for that particular kind of gripping K-drama. It’s very well done. (There is some romance and the local small-time gang provide laughs, so it’s not bleak or edge-of-the-seat all the time!)

For day 9 of the Asian drama recs challenge, I’m picking the twisty revenge K-drama #LawlessLawyer. It’s fun being on the side of the gangster lawyer vigilante who doesn’t mind breaking all the rules to get what he wants done. Modern K-dramas really know how to do twisty, villainous and gripping.
