I don't know how I never noticed this about #LawrenceOfArabia before, but I've just noticed that this scene was filmed at Plaza de España in Sevilla, Spain. Same location was used in the Star Wars prequels. It's a beautiful place and we enjoyed rowing boats in its canal. #TCMParty

Turns out #LawrenceOfArabia was one of Alex Trebek’s favorite movies. At the next commercial break, he treated the studio audience to a full dramatic recitation of the entire Auda Abu Tayi speech ‘I am a river to my people!’
