Lazarus (2025 anime): Completed. Everything turned out fine for the characters and the ending was definitely rushed. The cure resolution came too quickly. Well, for an original Toonami anime, it wasn’t wholly bad. I give it a 6/10 but this show needed to be longer. 26 episodes just like most of Watanabe’s previous works. The first half of the show is weaker than the second half. I may revisit this later but for now it’s at best just fine. It is nowhere near the worst Toonami original and miles better than FLCL Grunge, Fena, Blade Runner Black Lotus, Ninja Kamui, and most of the original anime they’ve put lately. I’ll at least see this show again unlike most of the other originals.

Season one of #lazarusanime was like a fun blend of #missionimpossible and #COWBOYBEBOP . Great action scenes. Cool characters. Dialog flow could have been a bit smoother at some places (will blame that on editing). Overall I enjoyed the hell out of this and am hopeful for a season 2.
