Enjoyable and motivational afternoon at the annual State of the City #LeedsSOTC event. Theme this year was #TeamLeeds and how this can be enabled and embedded in our communities. Lots of good ideas and honesty. As we navigate choppy waters ahead, partnership working and collaboration will be vital.

#LeedsSOTC challenges and barriers:

Where place-based working is strong, work not as developed for communities of interest without specific geography. Visibility of networks - how can signposting, connections be instantly and readily shared. Gaps being filled - need funding, resource, time, intent.

Some points from our table #LeedsSOTC:

#TeamLeeds strength - a shared ownership of achieving outcomes for our people. Fundamentally open door - orgs not isolated and can always access leadership to share their voice. Strong cohesive intent - culture of inclusion. Strong integration with health.

Always one of the most motivating events of the year - at Leeds State of the City #LeedsSOTC we're looking at #TeamLeeds in our localities, the incredible ground-up work that happens in our communities and how together we can do more. A room full of people doing inspiring things that improve lives.
