My commission of #Leighis from @sabattons.com was completed, and I couldn't be happier with it oh my God. Angel did an incredible job of taking the inspiration I provided, including my musings about Leighis and flower !!!gore!!! imagery, and making something utterly gorgeous.

#Leighis would I think define himself mostly as 'non-nuhn'. in modern western terms, he would probably consider himself some form of aroace with a preference but not an exclusive desire for men as close companions. in universe, that mostly translates to being tia within the structures of seeker -

neat visual for the differences in either side of #leighis 's face - i'm sure bsky will decimate the quality, but you can really see how the scar tissue and broken bones have pulled both sides.

in terms of trained power, #leighis would win in a fight to the death. #e'fira has the deepest wellspring of power, but no real way to channel it. #fairclough would have an advantage if you directly threatened his family, but likely not enough. #roi-hann has no qualms about killing or playing dirty.

#Leighis is most connected to Amdapor by virtue of being a WHM, but also because he spent a long fuckin time in PotD and has learned a lot about Gelmorra (amdapor's successor). He's by no means an expert, but learning from the past failures of white magic at it's strongest was important to his -

i had to think about this a bit, but #Leighis does have a fairly noticable "miqo'te voice" - with emphasis on sibilants and fricatives, etc. he's generally very even-toned and soft when he speaks, even when projecting to be heard over distance/chatter. that's why he's so scary when emotion seeps in.

" #Leighis " is a title, but not a particularly kind one. 'Leighis' is Gaeilge for healer, since Mhach mostly uses Irish language. He's the first non-Padjali White Mage since the War of the Magi, he's non-forestborn, and he's from an area of Vylbrand directly across the strait from Yafaem to boot.

#Leighis 's hair used to be quite healthy, a deep warm black. it was rlly long before the banquet, got shorter and shorter over the course of hvw and stb, and then was damaged by the Light in shb. he's growing it out again, but you can feel the difference in texture.

the #Faircloughs and #Glimlind would be pretty easy, honestly. #Leighis would be far more difficult, just because so much of his story directly entwines with the Calamity and aether-based magic.

i've touched on this before ! In a lot of ways, #Leighis physically cannot go back to his childhood home. the Calamity changed the landscape of the Bronze & Iron lakes & the O'Ghomoro foothills irreversably. He did, however, finally visit his clan again after returning from Ultima Thule. #Leighis6.x

i hesitate to actually describe #Leighis with concrete labels - using modern terms he would likely consider himself demiromantic and demisexual. he is slow to trust and slow to love in a way that might be considered "romantic". before DT he's never had any real sexual experiences.
