a comic. the scene is supposed to take place on Whitebeards ship. a younger version Portgas D Ace from One Piece is looking angry and yelling "that damn...!! Sasha pushed all the chores on me again!! Where is Sasha?!" Marco answers him with a calm expression. "...? probably in the showers." Ace stomps off yelling "I'm gonna kill him!". Marco watches him leave and murmurs to himself "... him? ah..."
The next panel cuts to Ace furiously pushing open a door, yelling "Sasha"
Sasha (my OC) is shown taking a shower, not very alarmed by Ace sudden burst into the room. With an indifferent expression, they say "? Yes?". Her privates are obscured by steam but you can discern Sashas features to be what would tradionally be called feminine.
Ace is standing wordlessly in the door frame, staring at Sasha. His face starts to turn a bright red as he realizes he mistakenly assumed Sasha had been assigned male at birth. (also it is probably one of the first times he has seen boobs and vagina lol)
The scene shifts. Ace is kneeling down on the floor, saying "I'm sorry" with a regretful expression and still a bit of a blush on his face. On top of his head a comicially large bump is shown. Marco standing next to him with his fist in the air implies that he had hit Ace on the head. Sasha is standing there with an indifferent expression. Marco berates Ace, saying "don't just run into people showering! no matter the gender!" Sasha then turns to Marco asking "I don't understand...?" and Marco explains "Ace here thought you were a guy."
Sasha just stares expressionless for a while before uttering a "Hah!" with a bit of a grin. They then start laughing, pointing at Ace. Sashas laugh is a weird "Hah! Hah! Hah!" (think of the count from sesame street). Ace retorts, yelling at her with an embarrassed expression "What the hell kind of laugh is that!" [END]
i imagine marco had to look after younglings a lot;;;

/NOTE: sasha is nonbinary and fine with any pronoun. however she is used to being perceived as mostly female and called she/her. sasha doesnt care.
