Evening scene on an intersection sidewalk in a (largely) residential neighborhood of a major city where it has been raining; in the foreground are piles of black, plastic trash bags stuffed with garbage; the piles were about one and a half metres tall and stretched at least six metres down the sidewalk, creating a hazardous obstacle for pedestrians - particularly those with walkers or wheelchairs; the intersection of streets is not extremely crowded at this time, but the street is wet and they are driving fast; we hope everyone arrives safely wherever they're going; the red traffic lights and white streetlamps, along with the wet rainy air, cause large lens flare effects on the photo; in the distance, and also to the side, are high-rise residential buildings made of bricks - thousands of people stacked atop one another; the sky is gray because it is raining.

Late evening scene in a park of a large city, facing an ice skating rink which is lit up with purple lighting; there are no skaters on the ice at this moment - instead the Zamboni ice-surfacing machine is driving on the ice and leaving circular impressions as it goes; the ice rink is surrounded by the trees of the park, whose leaves have not yet turned color or fallen; in the background, outside the park, are high-rise and skyscraper buildings as far as the eye can see; the buildings still have many of their lights on; the tallest of these buildings is the Bank of America building, which is topped with a very tall spire that glows and changes colors; a massive floodlight from the adjacent high-rise building shines down on the park, making for interesting lens-flare effects for would-be photographers.
