Lowercase #hashtags are inaccessible to blind folks—and they confuse everyone. In 2012, #susanalbumparty earned singer Susan Boyle the wrong kind of attention. Capitalizing #EachNewWord (aka #CamelCase) would’ve prevented the #SocialMediaFail.
