The deportees landed in Honduras and Colombia sent their own aircraft to pick them up. Trump's tarriffs did nothing but inflame this situation, which could have been avoided by sending deportees on a charter flight, as the Biden administration repeatedly did.

The aircraft did not have authorization to enter Columbian airspace. Colombia turned the aircraft away, as is their right when any country's unauthorized military aircraft enters their airspace.
