This film is everything I love about horror, it lures you into this world, to understand these characters and their anger and grief and when you think you know what to anticipate it scares the ever loving fuck out of you. I jumped so hard I threw my phone. Super recommend.

beautiful, eerie, soul crushing. The message that "there is still time" you can still claw yourself out of that grave -was such a haunting and powerful sentiment. Ive had my own issues with gender and god this film hit hard. Also fucking loved the Buffy references.

#lexrecs 2! The Deep Dark by @mollyostertag.bsky.social had me hooked, I borrowed it from the library and devoured it mesmerised by the beautiful art and story! It follows a high school girl named Magdalena who while caring for her Abuela meets an old friend leading her to faces her inner demons.
