#LidlUK are the latest named & shamed. The amount of senseless waste is ridiculous. One example is a 4 pack of baked beans coming apart from the cardboard packaging being thrown away. Nothing wrong with the tins. No-one’s heard of an elastic band or sticky tape plus a yellow sticker?
The Lidl app tells me that I shopped there 167 times this year: that’s about twice a week of small shopping trips, with my groceries able to be carried home.
“Little and often” shopping trips apparently make me a “Loyal Local”, which is true: life is so much easier when you have shops easily accessible nearby in your own neighbourhood.
You know you (are lucky enough to) live in a #15MinuteNeighbourhood when your shopping trips are definitely “little and often” and you can fairly easily just carry your shopping home with you (on foot or by bike or by public transport). 🎒💚🙂#sustainability #urbanism #Lidl #LidlUK

As the Wine World once again tries to push #PortugalWine as this year's Wine to Buy, I'm drinking #LidlUK Azinhaga de Ouro Tinto Reserva 2022. Medium to full body. Ripe black fruit. Hint of leather and black pepper. Smooth. £7ish.

Having the final white of #LidlUk #DeluxeRange and can confirm that the NZ Gisbourne Pinot Gris and NZ Sauvignon Blanc are the weakest of the range. Instead drink the South African Sauvignon Blanc and the Australian Viognier. Also very good, the SA Chenin Blanc and the Chilean Chardonnay.
I will be having a glass or 4 of this this evening if I can get the cork out!!
Mostly Chenin with some Chardonnay. #LidlUK comes through again with a £8.99 pricepoint.
