Sadly Lila wasn’t able to be tamed enough to adopt out so the shelter & I decided to return her to her colony. Fortunately she returns daily to check on her babies & have a proper meal. I’ve setup a feeding station for her. The two I adopted take turns snuggling grumpy old dude🥰

This is my last weekend with #LilasBabies as my fostering tenure winds down so that they can find forever homes. I’m going to miss the munchkins. Lila can’t go the humane society until she’s fixed so she’ll be hanging out a bit longer. I’m struggling to pick which one I want to adopt.

I picked up a Thunder Shirt for my “grumpy old man” of a dog to protect him from the kittens claws and it’s already working 🤭🥰 I know these days I look like I fell into rose bushes as they work on their new retraction skills 😳

Two of the three kittens are now officially on the go in constant explore and play mode. Momma kitty finally allows them to play on the bed while she hides under it for the break🤪

Today is week four for the kittens & surprisingly the runt of the litter, Violet, is becoming very independent. I guess at this age when you get tired, you just fall asleep wherever you are. She’s out cold all by herself on my dogs stairs 🤭

#LilasBabies quickly learned how to crawl out of their kiddie pool today so I setup their playpen. It’s rigged so that Lila can get in & the kittens have a litter training area & all leads into their large space. So where are they now… the entrance (the carrier they went to the vet in). 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

#LilasBabies have had their 1st active day. All 3 are trying to escape the kiddie pool, playing & 2 found more kittens in the mirror🤭 Violet skeptically viewed from a safe distance while Chunky tried desperately to crawl onto it to play. Best therapy ever. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day😻✌🏼
