That’s how it started. Soft kisses on Shen Qingqiu’s cheek. One on his temple. Perfectly innocent. Chaste.
Shen Qingqiu stopped crying and went perfectly still. It seemed as if he’d fallen asleep again, but then he let out a big sigh, like he’d made a decision, like he had come to terms with something. He tilted his head and pressed their lips together.
After that, it’s all a blur. It felt warm. So warm. Shen Qingqiu’s tongue in his mouth. Shen Qingqiu’s fingers in his hair. Whispers, like a prayer. Shidi. Shidi. Shidi.
He thought he might die. He thought he might burn up in this all-consuming fire, and all that would be left of him would be devotion, everlasting, floating in the wind.
They kissed and kissed until they couldn’t, until they fell asleep in each other’s arms. Some time later they woke up and kissed some more.
Now Shen Qingqiu is dozing again, hair splayed over the pillows like cool silk, one pale thigh peeking from the cover. Liu Qingge wants to touch it, to trace the pearly skin all the way down to the snow-white sock on Shen Qingqiu’s elegant foot. Instead, he strokes the rainbow of bruises on Shen Qingqiu’s neck. Most of them are different shades of pinks and reds, but some are already turning darker. Purple. Indigo blue. Helpless against it, he presses on one.
“Shidi,” a sleepy admonition, but he’s already being pulled in for another kiss.
This hunger might consume him whole.

This one is actually two drabbles and a half, because I wanted to write about them kissing some more 😌
(make sure to read the previous ones for this to make sense)
